My Why

I have often thought: Am I worth it and do I actually deserve all the incredible things life has to offer?  The answer is loud and unequivocally YES!!  We all do!!   But more importantly, how can I make sure that I don’t take any of my blessing for granted?

I do realize that simply appreciating what I have is definitely NOT enough. No way. I want to give back to all those that have mentored me and shared experiences of success and failure so that I might have the tools necessary to make wise decisions in my life.  I want to help other people, mainly my children; as much as I’ve been helped in the past. And most importantly, I want to have a positive influence on the world.  I understand that the most effective way for that to be possible is to be the best version of myself that I can. I need to reach my full potential.

Life can be daunting and hard so part of my why is to share the power of therapeutic humor with others.  Laughter is truly the best medicine and learning to laugh through the challenges instead of allowing them to break you is of paramount importance in my opinion.

Though I’m nowhere near finished, and will likely never be satisfied, I will continue to push myself to be the best version of myself so that I know I have given my all, mostly for my children.

Quite simply I want to leave the world better than I found it and be remembered by the people whose lives I touched as a force for good in their lives.
