Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom Where You Are Planted

How can you possibly ‘bloom where you are planted’? Seriously, what if you find yourself planted under some concrete or in the bark on an old ugly tree at the moment? Well, you might look for the crack in the concrete or bark to find your way out. And regardless of how grim it might look at the moment, choose to bloom anyways. Your happiness depends on it.

I have found that life doesn’t always allow us to choose the cards we have been dealt. Life has definitely taught me that regardless of the situation, we can learn to play that hand of cards well. Just like a flower that grows through a crack in the concrete or the bark of a tree, sometimes we have to make the best of our situations and bloom where we are planted.

You may not be where you want to be in life – just yet. Perhaps you are working a day job that is not your passion. Also possible you are working on your dream in small cracks of time or possibly all through the night.

Every chapter in your life builds a foundation to launch the next chapter.  This can be challenging but gives you the opportunity to ask yourself, “What is this situation going to teach me?” and “How can I use this experience for my greater good and help me reach my dream or goals?”

If you don’t like something, change it.

If you can’t change it, change your attitude about it. Seriously, if the situation cannot be changed you must learn to rise above it. What you tend to focus on, expands. Breathe positive energy into the positive things in your life and expand them.

You will also be surprised to know that your life will flourish if you look for ways to be a blessing to someone else. Remember that your struggles have prepared you to be in the path of someone that needs what only you can give. Regardless of what you might think, by helping others to be happy you are increasing your own happiness.  On a grand scale you have the ability to have a positive affect on people worldwide, so look for your next opportunity and live a life of prosperity.
